Influencer marketing Africa FAQs.
Which African countries do you run campaigns in?
Most campaigns focus on Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa, the continent’s biggest creator markets. We also work in other countries on request, with creators who speak to local audiences.
Which platform is biggest in Africa?
In many markets it is TikTok. TikTok ads reached 47.8M adults in Nigeria, 56.1% of adults in Kenya and 64.8% of adults in South Africa at the end of 2025 (DataReportal, Digital 2026 Nigeria; DataReportal, Digital 2026 Kenya; DataReportal, Digital 2026 South Africa).
Do influencer ads need approval in Nigeria?
Yes. Advertising for Nigerian audiences, including digital campaigns, has to be vetted by ARCON before it runs, with fines of up to N1,000,000 per breach (Afriwise, Mar 2025). We build approval time into the plan.
Do South African influencers have to label paid posts?
Yes. In July 2026, the Advertising Regulatory Board ruled that a paid influencer post needed a disclosure such as #ad or #sponsored, even on a personal account (EWN, Jul 2026).
Can you run campaigns in several African countries at once?
Yes. We run multi-country campaigns with local creators in each market and one report across all of them.
What does influencer marketing in Africa cost?
Every campaign is quoted on your brief. The cost depends on the number and size of creators, the formats and the markets. Book a call and we will send a written quote.
