About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AWISECO AB, trading as AWISEE (“AWISEE”, “we”, “us” or “our”), handles personal data when you visit awisee.com, contact us, work with us, participate in an influencer marketing campaign or use a service that links to this policy.
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), AWISEE acts as a data controller where we decide why and how personal data is processed. In some client engagements we may also process data on behalf of a client; where required, that relationship will be covered by the relevant agreement or data processing terms.

What information do we collect?
The information we collect depends on how you interact with us. We aim to collect only what is relevant to the service or business purpose involved.

Where does the information come from?
Information you give us
We receive information when you contact us, request a proposal, enter into an agreement, complete a form, register as a creator, participate in a campaign or otherwise communicate with AWISEE.
Publicly available creator information
For creator discovery and campaign research, we may review information that creators have chosen to make public on social media, creator websites, professional directories and other legitimate public sources. This can include a public profile, content, audience indicators, niche, business contact details and past public collaborations.
Public availability does not mean that personal data can be used without limit. We still apply applicable data-protection principles and provide rights and choices as described below.
Clients, partners and service providers
We may receive relevant information from clients, agencies, creator representatives, campaign partners, analytics providers and other service providers used in our operations.

Creator discovery and public profiles
Influencer marketing requires AWISEE to identify and assess potential creators. We may therefore use publicly available professional information to find creators who may be relevant to a campaign, build shortlists, evaluate content and audience fit, verify public profile information and contact creators about potentially relevant opportunities where permitted by applicable law.
We do not treat public information as exempt from privacy law. Creators can contact us to ask what information we hold, request correction or deletion where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Creator-submitted information
Information submitted directly through /creators is handled separately from information collected from public sources. We may use submitted information to verify a profile, maintain creator records, match creators with opportunities, communicate about campaigns and present relevant profiles to clients where there is an appropriate legal basis.
For the initial version of the /creators service, AWISEE does not sell or license creator-submitted personal data as a standalone database. If the commercial model changes materially, we will reassess the legal basis, update the relevant notices and obtain new consent where required.
When do we share information?
We do not disclose personal data indiscriminately. Depending on the service, information may be shared with:
- AWISEE personnel and contractors who need access for their role.
- Cloud, hosting, CRM, communications, analytics, e-signature, accounting, payment and IT providers.
- Clients where creator or campaign information is needed for campaign planning or delivery.
- Brands or agencies where a creator has given the relevant consent for non-public information, if consent is the chosen legal basis.
- Lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers and other professional advisers.
- Authorities or courts where disclosure is required by law.
- A buyer, investor or successor as part of a legitimate corporate transaction, subject to applicable safeguards.
International transfers
AWISEE works internationally and may use service providers in different countries. Where GDPR-protected data is transferred outside the European Economic Area to a country without an applicable adequacy decision, we will use an appropriate transfer mechanism where required, such as the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses or another recognised safeguard.
How long do we keep information?
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate legal, accounting, contractual or dispute-related needs. Retention depends on the type of information, whether a client or creator relationship remains active, statutory retention requirements and potential legal claims.
Where a valid deletion request is accepted, information will be deleted, anonymised or restricted as appropriate. Temporary copies may remain in backups until overwritten through normal backup cycles.
Marketing preferences
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting [email protected]. Operational messages relating to an active service or campaign are not marketing communications.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Non-essential technologies will be activated only where required consent has been obtained. You can revisit your choices through the cookie settings available on the website.
How do we protect data?
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against accidental loss, unauthorised access, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. More information is available on our Security & Data Protection page.
Your privacy rights
- Access: ask whether we process your personal data and request a copy.
- Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: request erasure where the legal conditions apply.
- Restriction: ask us to limit certain processing.
- Portability: receive certain information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format where applicable.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests in circumstances recognised by law.
- Direct marketing: object to direct marketing at any time.
- Withdraw consent: where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.
- Complaint: complain to the competent data-protection supervisory authority.

Age limits
The /creators registration service is intended for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly invite children to create creator profiles through this service. If we learn that a profile was submitted by someone under 18, we may remove or restrict the profile and related information.
Links to third-party services
Our website may link to social networks, payment services or other independent websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, technology, legal obligations or processing activities change. The latest version will be published on the website with its updated date. If a change affects processing that requires consent, we will seek fresh consent where required.
