Why is there a separate creator notice?

Creators are central to AWISEE’s influencer marketing services, and creator information can come from different sources. This notice gives creators a focused explanation of those activities. It should be read together with the AWISEE Privacy Policy.

The three types of creator information we use

Why do we use public creator information?

AWISEE may use publicly available professional information to identify creators, build shortlists, assess campaign and audience fit, verify profiles, plan campaigns, contact creators about relevant opportunities where permitted and produce campaign or market analysis.

Where we rely on legitimate interests for this activity, we consider the professional context of the information, how it was made public and the likely impact on the creator. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests by contacting [email protected]

What happens when you register?

Information you submit through /creators may be used to verify your profile, maintain your creator record, match you with potential opportunities, contact you, assess campaign fit, manage collaborations and, where legally permitted, present relevant profile information to potential clients.

How should the signup consent work?

Acceptance of the Creator Terms should be separate from any optional consent used for non-essential sharing of non-public creator information. The recommended website implementation is:

If AWISEE later knows specific categories of recipients, sectors or markets in advance, the consent interface should describe them as clearly as reasonably possible rather than relying on vague language.

Can you withdraw consent?

Yes. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time using the available privacy mechanism or by contacting [PRIVACY EMAIL]. Withdrawal applies to future processing based on that consent and does not affect processing that was already lawful before withdrawal.

Does AWISEE sell creator data?

For the initial version of the creator service, AWISEE does not sell or license creator-submitted personal data as a standalone database. AWISEE may charge clients for campaign, sourcing, research, technology, analytics and management services that involve identifying or recommending creators.

If this model changes materially, AWISEE will review the legal basis and transparency requirements before implementation and update the relevant privacy information. Fresh consent will be obtained where required.

What about follower and audience information?

AWISEE may use audience-level statistics and insights to assess campaign fit or performance. Where reasonably possible, follower or audience information should be handled in aggregated or statistical form rather than exposing identifiable information about individual followers.

Sensitive information

The standard /creators registration form should not request special-category personal data or unnecessary identity, banking or tax information. If such information later becomes necessary for a separate payment, compliance or contractual process, it should be collected only for that specific purpose with appropriate safeguards.

Who may receive creator information?

• AWISEE team members and contractors who need it for their role.
• Clients where relevant creator information is required for campaign planning or delivery.
• Brands or agencies within the scope of an applicable consent or other valid legal basis.
• Technology and business service providers that support hosting, communications, CRM, analytics, payments or security.
• Professional advisers and authorities where legally necessary.

How long do we keep it?

Retention depends on whether a profile is active, whether the information remains relevant to legitimate creator discovery or campaign activity, contractual or accounting needs, legal claims and any valid deletion or objection request.
